Terms of Service

1. The Service

VirtualCards.ai lets you create AI-illustrated, optionally AI-animated greeting cards from a photo or a written description, and deliver them to a recipient by shareable link or email.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. AI-generated content

Cards are generated by AI image and video models based on the photo or description you provide. Results are stylized artistic interpretations -- they are not guaranteed to be a precise likeness of any person or scene, and outputs can vary between attempts even from the same input.

4. Pricing, subscriptions, and cancellation

Current pricing (single card, monthly subscription credits, and optional add-ons like an extra video option) is shown in the app at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide partial-period refunds for unused time.

5. Refunds

Generating a card consumes real computing resources the moment you request it, so purchases are generally final. If something we control genuinely failed -- for example, a card never finished generating due to a system error -- contact us and we'll make it right, typically with a free regeneration or, where appropriate, a refund. We don't offer refunds for subjective dissatisfaction with an AI-generated result (e.g., not liking the artistic style or the likeness) -- in those cases we'll offer a free additional attempt instead.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload a photo of someone else without their knowledge and consent to be depicted;
• Send a card that harasses, threatens, bullies, or is intended to upset its recipient;
• Generate or send content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable;
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent limits on the Service (including automated/bot use).

Recipients can report a card they've received as inappropriate directly from the card's page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Your content, our license

You keep ownership of any photo you upload. By uploading it, you give us a license to use it solely to generate your card and operate the Service -- we don't use your photos to train AI models or for any other purpose. You own the resulting card for your own personal use, including sharing it with the recipient and others.

8. Third-party services

Operating the Service relies on third-party providers -- for example, a payment processor (Stripe) to handle checkout, and separate providers for email delivery, AI content generation, and account/data hosting. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable (for example, Stripe's terms govern your payment).

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VirtualCards.ai isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
